HanAra is the North American Headquarters of South Korean-based BNF Technology. Since 2000, BNF Technology has been developing intelligent software across multiple industries. By utilizing advancing technologies, BNF has assisted more than 250 facility sites across two continents in optimizing operational management.

LEADERSHIP

Hojoon Seo
CEO & President

Hojoon Seo is the president and CEO of HanAra and its parent company, South Korea-based BNF Technology. Through his leadership, the organization has become a global leader in data management and predictive maintenance, through optimized intelligent software solutions.

Since founding the organization in 2000, Hojoon has been dedicated to creating a company that is focused equally on customers, communities, and employees. His vision is that while the organization provides innovative products with excellent training and customer care programs, that it also positively impacts its communities. To deliver on this vision, he starts first with his employees focusing on recruiting and developing talent with the right mix of innovation and service. Creating a culture where employees are healthy and happy has been a key to the organization’s success.

Before launching BNF Technology, Hojoon served as Manager of KEPCO (Korea Engineering and Power Company) for three years. His professional start came as a senior researcher for Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute where he designed and developed plant monitoring systems, instrumentation, and controls.

Hojoon earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Yeungnam University in Gyeongsan, South Korea. He also holds a Master of Science in Nuclear and Quantum Engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST).

Sarah Kline
General Manager

Sarah Kline was the first hire for HanAra in the U.S., joining the company in 2016. As the General Manager, she leads the daily operations of the organization and coordinates engineering and technical support, planning, and sales and marketing. She is focused on developing new markets, increasing the market share in the U.S., and maintaining a competitive position in the industry.

Sarah brings significant international business and manufacturing expertise to HanAra. Before joining the company, she served as a technology assessment researcher for the Global Commercialization Group/IC2 Institute at The University of Texas at Austin, a post that led directly to her joining HanAra. Adding to her international experience, Sarah also served as a policy research team member at the LBJ School of Public Affairs where she assisted on the Manufacturing Trends in Texas and Mexico project.

Sarah holds dual degrees from Texas Christian University — a Bachelor of Science in Economics, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science — graduating Summa Cum Laude. She also earned her Master of Global Policy Studies from The University of Texas, LBJ School of Public Affairs.

Each year, HanAra donates time and money to nonprofits in the communities where we live and work. Every quarter, all HanAra members volunteer as a team at an employee-selected non-profit. From working at food banks to providing homeless services, HanAra members live out our mission of improving the world beyond our software and services.
